Foster defendió con éxito corona WBC
El Campeón Superpluma del Consejo Mundial de Boxeo, el estadounidense O’Shaquie Foster, realizó la primera defensa de su corona al noquear de forma dramática, en el round 12, al aguerrido mexicano Eduardo “Rocky” Hernández, en el combate estelar de una cartelera que se llevó a cabo en el Poliforum Benito Juárez de Cancún, Quintana Roo, México.
El final del combate fue dramático, porque después de un salvaje round 11, en el round 12, Foster envió dos veces a la lona a Hernández, quien se levantó en un par de ocasiones, pero en la segunda estaba totalmente desorientado.
Hernández estaba siendo sometido por Foster, estaba contra las cuerdas y recibiendo castigo, hasta que el referí panameño Héctor Afú, decidió suspender las acciones.
