Foster successfully defends WBC crown
Super Featherweight Champion of the World Boxing Council, O’Shaquie Foster, made the first defense of his crown by dramatically knocking out, in the 12th round, the brave Eduardo “Rocky” Hernández.
It was the main fight at the Poliforum Benito Juárez in Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
The end of the fight was dramatic, because after a wild 11th round, in the 12th round, Foster sent Hernández to the canvas twice. He got up a couple of times, but the second time he was totally disoriented.
Hernández was being subdued by Foster, he was against the ropes and receiving punishment, until the Panamanian referee Héctor Afú decided to halt the action.
