José Ramírez will defend WBC crown in February
WBC super lightweight champion Jose Ramirez, the pride of the Central Valley of California, returns to fight at home with a couple of missions in mind.
Primarily, he aims to achieve the second successful defense of his world title when he collides with contender Jose «Chon» Zepeda on Sunday, February 10 at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. He also hopes, along with the community of the Central Valley, to continue the fight against cancer.
This special Top Rank card will be televised LIVE by ESPN and ESPN Deportes starting at 7 p.m. ET
A percentage of each ticket sold will benefit the Community Cancer Institute in Clovis, California.
The title clash Ramírez vs. Zepeda will lead a special Top Rank show on ESPN starting at 7 p.m. ET. Ramirez will auction off his uniform, gloves, and shoes that he will use in the fight, and all proceeds will benefit the Community Cancer Institute in Clovis, California.
