The contenders for the interim lightweight championship of the World Boxing Council, Mexican William “Camarón” Zepeda and American Tevin “2X” Farmer, promised to provide an unforgettable fight this Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
William Zepeda Segura, stated that he feels incredibly motivated for this fight. Thanks to the excellent preparation carried out, which has been intense and concentrated.
“I have spared no effort to get in the best possible shape. I know that my opponent is not a walk in the park: he is tough and experienced, and I respect that. But we have developed a solid and intelligent strategy for Saturday, and I am ready to execute it,” said Zepeda.
While Tevin Farmer assured that against all odds he is willing himself to gain victory.
“I’ve seen Golden Boy and Eddie Hearn promoting a future duel between Zepeda and Shakur, but I feel like it’s crazy when Zepeda has a guy like Tevin Farmer in front of him. He never puts the cart before the horse, and I think it’s a bad decision because I’ll get the win next Saturday.”
This Friday the official weigh-in of the evening took place. Zepeda and Farmer weighed in at under 135 pounds, so they reported themselves ready to get into the ring.
