
Yokasta Galeth Valle Álvarez was born on August 28, 1992, in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, and moved to Costa Rica as a child.
She began her sports career playing volleyball, but at age 13, she ventured into boxing, influenced by her father. She made her professional debut on July 26, 2014, in Alajuela, Costa Rica, defeating Mexican Guadalupe “La Fiera” Atilano by unanimous decision.
Titles Won:
• In 2016, she won her first world title by winning the International Boxing Federation (IBF) women’s atomweight championship (102 pounds).
• In 2019, she won the IBF women’s minimum weight title after defeating Spain’s Joana Pastrana.
• In 2022, she unified the IBF and World Boxing Organization (WBO) titles at 105 pounds.
• In November 2024, she was crowned the World Boxing Council (WBC) straw-weight champion by defeating Mexican Elizabeth “Veneno” López.


Career Highlights:
• Valle has successfully defended her titles on multiple occasions, establishing herself as one of the best boxers in her weight class.
• In March 2024, she faced American Seniesa “Super Bad” Estrada in a title unification fight, where she lost by unanimous decision in a controversial bout.
