Yokasta Valle itching to Defend WBC Crown Against Yadira Bustillos

The World Boxing Council strawweight champion, Costa Rica’s Yokasta Valle, will return to the ring on Friday, December 19th, at the Kaseya Center in Miami.

She will face Yadira Bustillos on a card broadcast by Netflix, as part of the platform’s strategy to continue expanding into professional boxing.

Valle, one of the most active figures in women’s boxing, arrives with the momentum of multiple successful defenses and aims to strengthen her position in the division. Bustillos, of Mexican descent and based in the United States, faces the most important opportunity of her career, backed by a style of constant pressure and results that led her to be considered an eligible challenger.

A victory for Valle could open up unification options, while a win for Bustillos would abruptly change the panorama of the category.
