WBC President Mauricio Sulaimán and Rasheen Farlow, Strategic Partner, Global Brand Strategy and Cultural Partnerships and Creator of the WBC Crown Series™, Continue the 2026 Rollout of Wearable Championship Artifacts for Ma in Event World Title Bouts
Las Vegas, NV, March 28, 2026 — The World Boxing Council (WBC), under the leadership of President Mauricio Sulaimán, together with Rasheen Farlow, Strategic Partner, Global Brand Strategy and Cultural Partnerships, World Boxing Council and creator of the WBC Crown Series™, today announced the official presentation of the WBC Crown Series™ Main Event Championship Chain & Pendant.
The piece will be awarded in connection with the WBC World Championship main event between Sebastian Fundora and Keith Thurman at MGM Grand Garden Arena, promoted by Premier Boxing Champions and broadcast live on Amazon Prime.
This presentation marks the continuation of the WBC Crown Series™ Main Event program following the inaugural Main Event Chain & Pendant and represents the second official awarding within the 2026 program. The initiative runs across 2026 in alignment with WBC World Championship main event bouts, establishing a consistent ceremonial extension tied to the sport’s most visible championship stages.
The Crown Series platform was first introduced with the WBC Undisputed Championship Ring at the Canelo Álvarez vs. Terence Crawford event, which reached over 41 million global viewers.
The Main Event category builds on that foundation, formalizing a new class of WBC-issued
championship artifacts designed to exist alongside the belt.
Purpose and Positioning
The WBC Crown Series™ Main Event Chain & Pendant is issued as a complementary championship distinction. The WBC belt remains boxing’s official in-ring symbol of victory. The Chain & Pendant provides a permanent, wearable representation of that achievement, directly tied to the event and preserved beyond the ring.
As part of the 2026 program, this structure introduces a defined ceremonial layer attached to WBC World Championship main events, reinforcing both consistency and long-term significance.
Design and Specifications
The Chain & Pendant was commissioned for this championship event and executed using materials aligned with modern luxury standards.
Pendant specifications include:
10-karat white gold
VVS1 diamonds
Pendant dimensions 3 x 2 inches
Approximate total carat weight 19.2
Total stone count 866
244 round diamonds
102 baguette diamonds
520 emerald stones
The pendant is paired with a custom 10-karat white gold ice link chain, designed for both presentation and long-term wear.
Fabrication of the Chain & Pendant was executed by Bite Club LLC in accordance with WBC Crown Series design specifications and approval standards.
Crown Series Platform
The WBC Crown Series™ is a licensed platform created by Rasheen Farlow in his official role within the World Boxing Council. It establishes a formal framework for championship artifacts issued under WBC governance.
The Crown Series Main Event program is active across 2026 and aligned with WBC World Championship main event bouts as part of its structured rollout.
All Crown Series artifacts are issued as complementary distinctions and do not replace the WBC
championship belt.
