Good mental health does not only mean the absence of disorders such as depression or anxiety, but also the ability to manage stress, form healthy relationships, and enjoy everyday life.
In today’s world, where the pace of life is chaotic and accelerated, work pressure, social networks and uncertainties about the future, bring us complications and uncertain thoughts that make taking care of mental health become a fundamental need for everyone.
Taking care of our mental health involves taking preventive measures, such as practicing self-care, speaking openly about our feelings and emotions, also seeking professional help when necessary or simply knowing how to ask for support from our family, friends and people close to us.
Also, by taking care of our mental health, we become more empathetic, patient and with better tools to build strong relationships and from love. This is not only important in personal life, but also in social and work life.
By giving equal importance to mental health and physical health, we contribute to normalizing the search for emotional support for ourselves and others. Thus, prioritizing emotional well-being will not only bring benefits at an individual level, but also contributes to creating a more understanding and healthy society.
