Who is Dubois?
Daniel Dubois was born on September 6, 1997 in Greenwich, London, England. As an amateur boxer he was crowned five-time national youth champion and British champion.
His father took him to the boxing gym at the tender age of nine to avoid trouble on the street. He trained at the Peacock Gym in Canning Town, working with Tony and Martin Bowers.
Dubois logged around 75 amateur fights.

He was initially in the Great Britain Olympic team with the aim of competing at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, but Daniel opted to turn professional instead.
He fought his first professional fight in April 2017. He faced Marcus Kelly and beat him with a knockout 35 seconds into the first round.

By June 11, 2022, Dubois defeated Trevor Bryan by knockout in the fourth round at the Casino Miami in Florida, cementing himself as one of the most able and capable heavyweights.
By December 2022, Dubois faced current interim WBC bridger-weight champion Kevin Lerena at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London as part of the Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora III card.

In the fight he had to come from behind, as he was knocked down in the first round; he ended up winning by technical knockout in the third round.
In 2023 he lost to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk in a fight held in Poland. After this defeat he recovered by knocking out two of the most fearsome punchers of the moment, Jarell Miller and Filip Hrgovic.
Daniel has a younger sister, Caroline Dubois, who is the current interim WBC lightweight champion.
