On June 15 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, there will be a Bumper Card, because no fewer than three WBC titles will be up for grabs.
World Boxing Council middleweight Champion Carlos Adames from the Dominican Republic, will defend his title against Terrell Gausha.
Also, David Benavidez and Oleksandr Gvozdyk will slug it out for the interim WBC light heavyweight title.
”Mexican Monster” comes into this fight after defending the WBC interim super middleweight title with a TKO over Demetrius Andrade in a punctuating performance last November. Gvozdyk, who was already world champion at 175 pounds, had 3 important victories in 2023 since he was defeated by current champion Artur Beterbiev in 2019.
Undefeated rising star Gary Antuanne Russell and unbeaten former world champion Alberto Puello will clash for the World Boxing Council interim super lightweight title. Russell comes into this fight after defeating Kent Cruz in the first round in August of last year. While Puello defeated Ector Madera by decision in December of last year.
The fight that headlines the card will be between Americans Gervonta Davis and Frank Martin.
