Former world champion Keith Thurman captured the WBC welterweight world title in 2015, establishing himself as one of the most solid names in the division at that time.

Thurman became WBC champion after defeating Robert Guerrero, a victory that definitively propelled him into the elite at 147 pounds. He later made successful defenses against high-level opposition, reaffirming his status before unifying titles in the division.

Nicknamed “One Time,” the American boasts a professional record of 30-1 with 22 knockouts.
