
Brave, tough and intrepid Aussie fighter Hussein Hussein, was hospitalized after being diagnosed with Covid-19 in a Sydney, due to pneumonia, but his condition is stable, according to his brother who advised Fightnews news portal.
In 2003, Hussein challenged the WBC flyweight champion, Pongsalek Wonjongkam, in Bangkok, Thailand. He also participated in two bouts with multiple Mexican champion Jorge Arce, in 2005.
After his retirement, Hussein became a boxing trainer along with his brothers Billy Hussein and Maz Hussein at the Bodypunch Boxing Gym in Lakemba Sydney, Australia.
