WBC wishes Hussein Hussein a speedy recovery

Brave, tough and intrepid Aussie fighter Hussein Hussein, was hospitalized after being diagnosed with Covid-19 in a Sydney, due to pneumonia, but his condition is stable, according to his brother who advised Fightnews news portal.

In 2003, Hussein challenged the WBC flyweight champion, Pongsalek Wonjongkam, in Bangkok, Thailand. He also participated in two bouts with multiple Mexican champion Jorge Arce, in 2005.

After his retirement, Hussein became a boxing trainer along with his brothers Billy Hussein and Maz Hussein at the Bodypunch Boxing Gym in Lakemba Sydney, Australia.

The President of the World Boxing Council, Mauricio Sulaimán Saldívar, and the entire WBC Family he so ably leads, send their very best wishes for the speedy recovery of Hussein.
