WBC Ring Officials Committee meet in Mexico City

WBC Ring Officials  Committee met  in Mexico City with the President of the World Boxing Council, Mauricio Sulaiman and supporting staff of the organization addressing some of the top priorities of the World Boxing Council.

The Ring Officials Committee was represented by its chairman, Mr. Hubert Minn, as well as prominent officials Frank Garza, Steve Morrow, Barry Lindenmann and Christian Curiel, who are working on important innovations undertaken by the WBC, among them: I)   WBC University certification; II)  Performance evaluation system for ring Officials; III) Live Scoring App for judges; IV) Launching of the Clean Boxing Program for Ring Officials, plus other topics of great importance.

The WBC is proud of the integrated system which has been built with the support of May Podgoski.

The paramount purpose of all these initiatives, is the protection of the health and well-being of the boxers for the integrity and justice in Boxing. Many of the results of this meeting will be announced during the next Annual Convention to be held in Cancun, Quintana Roo from October 20 to 26.
