During seven decades of a glittering and magnificent career, Silvia Pinal worked as an actress, singer, producer and Mexican politician. She became a national treasure and an icon.
The beloved actress was born on September 12, 1931 in Guaymas, Sonora. She is one of the most emblematic figures of film, television and theater in Mexico, whose career includes more than 80 films. She is considered one of the greatest exponents of the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema and has left a significant pure gold standard hallmark, on the country’s culture. The Pride of a Nation.
WBC President Mauricio Sulaimán commented on his social networks:
“One of the greatest personalities of our Mexico has passed away. May God greet Doña Silvia Pinal in his Holy Glory. These photos are wonderful at COMEDEP awards with Cantinflas, Ignacio López Tarzo, Beto Ávila and my dad José Sulaimán.”
We have lost an All Time Great. Silvia Pinal is irreplaceable. There will NEVER be another like her. Thank you for all you have given us.
