
Olegario Vázquez Raña, businessman and former Mexican Olympian, passed away at 89 years old.
Olegario Vázquez studied business administration and later became a businessman and director of several companies.
As a young man, he practiced rifle shooting, competing in the Olympic Games four times between 1964 and 1976. Vázquez was named Honorary President for Life of the Mexican Shooting Federation in 1992.
The World Boxing Council and its President Mauricio Sulaimán, send their deepest condolences to the family and friends of Olegario.
