WBC helps raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer!

At the WBC, we are committed and united to raise awareness about breast cancer, which is why since 2013 we have joined this campaign for this October special impetus.

The entire boxing family wears the symbolic pink bow, in addition , our ring officials show up to work with pink shirts, even for 2015 the organization in collaboration with the prestigious glove brand Cleto Reyes unveiled a special edition of pink gloves that have been used since them in women’s title fights.

It is imperative for the organization to get the message across to more women, so in October, the organization holds various press conferences where our champions and WBC Cares combine as ambassadors of this noble task, among them: Christiane Manzur, WBC Cares Mexico President,  Ana María Torres, Zulina Muñoz, Lupita Martínez, Ibeth Zamora, Yésica Chávez, and Ana Arrazola. 

The commitment and especially the empathy of our boxers to be messengers of hope and how self-examination saves lives has been so great, that on several occasions they have met with patients who are fighting this illness. Gatherings that are invaluable and vital.
