
The Health care at the WBC Grand Prix in Saudi Arabia was a tremendous success because of meticulous organization, focus on safety and expert medical supervision.
Dr Paul Wallace who leads the WBC Medical Advisory Committee told the Convention in Thailand, that the work of colleague Dr Neil Scott has been outstanding. Fortunately there were no serious injuries during the tournament and the work of the cutmen team was so good that no one of the one hundred and thirty bouts was stopped because of a gash.
Dr Wallace said it has been a very safe event terming it a consensus of doctors. The Grand Finals are in Riyadh on December 20th.
President Mauricio Sulaiman praised the exceptional work of his staff who achieved a legion of tasks to accomplish the smooth running of the events and its different rounds, practically fulfilling the visionary dream of his father, to launch and give impetus to young, upcoming and promising fighters worldwide.
