WBC Champions and Top 15 Ranked Boxers Must Register on BoxMed
The World Boxing Council, in partnership with the digital platform Conexión Fácil 2.0, has created the BoxMed app.
The goal is to provide all boxers from our almost two hundred affiliated countries, with an easy-to-use tool to register and monitor their weight, as well as many other health-related solutions for resolutions.
Starting in December 2025, it will be mandatory for all champions and the top 15 ranked boxers in each WBC division to be registered on BoxMed. They will also need to use the app to log and chart their weight, according to the WBC’s established rules (initial weight, 30, 14, and 7 days before their fights).
The BoxMed app is easily accessible from any mobile device, allowing for simple, real-time monitoring of weight data and many other options for each athlete’s comprehensive health care.
This platform has all the necessary security measures for handling confidential information. It can be used to manage important medical history data, track injuries, and handle official WBC communications, before and after a fight, among many other useful things.
“Thanks to technology, we have access to this platform all over the world. Starting in December 2025, our champions and top 15 ranked boxers will have to be part of the program,” said WBC President Mauricio Sulaimán.
