WBC Board of Governors First Meeting

At the WBC Convention, the Board of Governors is busy in an all-day meeting.

The Governors are the engine room which propels the WBC on an even keel, setting a navigable course. Their expertise has already been invaluable in a variety of aspects that demand immediate attention at the WBC Convention and title fights to come.

The Governors are the ones who vote on the key issues to be discussed during the week. They can and will draw upon lifetimes of experience, spanning all continents, but they are also very much looking to the future for the progression of boxing.

The Board of Governors is the decision makers, amidst the movers and shakers. They provide stability, expertise and combined wisdom on which so much depends.

Today, at the first day of our annual convention, the Board of Governors celebrated their very first meeting, which aims to have a smooth convention.

In a very emotional moment, Pol. General Kovid Bhakdibhumi came to the meeting and greeted his beloved WBC family in the beautiful land of smiles.
