The World Boxing Council, an organization that has always walked hand-in-hand with the most influential figures in popular culture, was present at this significant ceremony. José Antonio Arreola Sulaimán, representing the organization and its president Mauricio Sulaimán, recognized Iglesias’ achievements and greatness by presenting him with a replica of the emblematic Green and Gold Belt.

As part of this initiative, boxers with this condition were recognized with medals, highlighting their discipline and commitment to the sport.

A special press screening of the documentary Rómpete la Madre was held, a project that explores the reality, challenges, and strength of women in boxing. The event brought together media representatives in an intimate setting that allowed them to learn more about the process behind the production. Boxer Guadalupe Bautista, champion Marilyn Badillo, and the documentary’s director, Daniela Uriza, attended the event and shared their thoughts about the project and the importance of giving visibility to the stories of women who have paved the way in the sport.
