
Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez accompanied his trainer Eddy Reynoso and his teammate Cristofer Rosales to an important fight in Japan, where Cristofer faced the now WBC flyweight champion, Kenshiro Teraji, offering a great fight and showing great heart.
At the Ariake Arena in Koto-Ku, Canelo met up with another of the best pound-for-pound fighters of the moment, Naoya “Monstro” Inoue, sharing the moment on social media, where two of the best fighters of the time came together.
Canelo has commented that he would like to fight in Japan one day and without a doubt, sharing a card with Inoue would be spectacular for the fans.
Canelo (62-2-2, 39 KOs) has achieved a lot in his career, as he won world titles in four different weight divisions, was a unified champion in three of them and was the first undisputed champion at super middleweight.
He currently holds the WBC, WBA and WBO belts. He has been a professional boxer for almost twenty years.
Inoue (28-0, 25 KOs), is a four-division world champion who has proven his quality in every fight.
