
Former multiple world champion Jorge “Travieso” Arce visited Mexico City to attend an event at a university in Mexico City.
Taking advantage of his stay in Mexico City, El Travieso visited the World Boxing Council central office.
The champion, originally from Los Mochis, Sinaloa, proved to be a fierce fighter, finishing his career with a record of 64 wins, 2 draws, 8 losses, and 49 knockouts.
Jorge was the first Mexican to win five world championships in different weight classes, an unprecedented achievement in the history of Mexican boxing. Known for his aggressive and charismatic style, Arce fought many great and epic battles during his legendary professional career, facing the best boxers in varied weight categories.
Last year, Arce received well-deserved recognition for his successful and memorable career when he was inducted into the into the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame.
