Torres and Valenzuela will clash for NABF title

Tomorrow Friday in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Javier “Popotitos” Torres (14-1-0, 9 Kos) will face Germán Valenzuela (15-1, 11 Kos) for the NABF title, in an evening organized by the company Green Day Boxing Promotions.

Torres and Valenzuela will compete for the vacant light fly title of the North American Boxing Federation, which will catapult the winner to a better boxing ranking.

Javier is the current FECOMBOX light fly champion, but his ambition is now focused upon winning the NABF title and continuing to climb the ladder to aspire to the world title, which is currently held by Kenshiro Teraji.

Valenzuela, who is nicknamed “Chile”, will turn five years as a professional one day before the fight with “Popotitos”, but this will be the first opportunity he receives to contest an important title..
