The year of “The Cat?”

Adrián “Gatito” Curiel (15-3 and 3 KO´s) will have an important test when he faces Hugo “Verdugo” Guarneros (16-3-2 and 8 KO´s) for the vacant World Council Latin American light flyweight belt, on Friday at the Dome of the IMSS Convention Center south of Mexico City.

It tops The bill of All Star Boxing and Sports Productions with a Telemundo Deportes broadcast.

“It has been seen that Hugo Guarneros gives a great deal in  the ring, and so  I do I. Don’t miss  this fight, as it will be amazing, ” Curiel said.

“This is a great opportunity for me. I will do my best to offer a great fight, the preparation has been excellent and we will demonstrate it in the ring,” ventured Guarnoros.

Curiel is seeking his second title after winning the FECARBOX WBC Championship in 2019. On the other hand, Guarneros will seek to secure his first title after a tough fight against Sunny Edwards in London last year, the only time he has fought outside of Mexico.
