The World Boxing Council Mourns the Passing of Ernest Sharif

The entire WBC family and its President Mauricio Sulaiman Saldivar, mourns the loss of Ernest Sharif, who passed away on February 11.

Ernie was an outstanding ring official and a passionate boxing enthusiast. For decades, he served as a professional boxing Referee, always conducting himself with integrity, professionalism, dedication and honor.

The WBC extends its condolences to the family of Ernest Sharif during this difficult time. May Ernie rest in eternal peace.
