The World Boxing Council Launches a Flows to Discover LATAM Talents Who Want to Connect with the World of Boxing

The World Boxing Council (WBC), in alliance with TalentPitch, the app where the world’s creative talents find their stage, invites all young people in Latin America who dream of connecting with the boxing experience to showcase their talents.

They are launching 3 “flows” for different audiences who want to connect with the world of boxing globally:

Why Be Part of the Boxing Experience?

Boxing has millions of fans in over 170 countries, reaching more than 800 million active fans (Statista, 2022), and the WBC is one of the most recognized organizations worldwide.

Many boxers have expanded their influence beyond the ring, creating their own clothing brands and digital content. For example, Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez and Oleksandr Usyk have launched clothing lines and digital products, demonstrating how boxing can be a platform for designing, entrepreneurship, content creation, among others, and leading to collaborations with brands like Hublot, Telmex, Adidas Boxing, Cleto Reyes, and Roots of Fight.

“La Velada del Año,” organized by content creators  Ibai Llanos, have shown how boxing can attract millions of viewers and be covered by ESPN, DAZN, Showtime, TV Azteca, and more. Star events have surpassed 4 million PPV buys in the U.S. alone.

Programs against violence, bullying, and drug use allow creatives to participate in purposeful causes.

Many boxers are inspiration for movies, series, and urban music. Boxers like Ryan Garcia or Gervonta Davis each have over 10 million followers.

Who Can Join the Flow?

Influencers, content creators, musicians, gamers, athletes, singers, composers, filmmakers, dancers, actors, painters, photographers, writers, inventors, DJs, producers, streamers, vloggers, directors, video editors, animators, illustrators, presenters, speakers, activists, volunteers, and many others.

The flow is open in LATAM for creative young people between 13 and 30 years old (if you are a minor, you must have parental authorization). No prior experience in any of these disciplines is required, but an authentic portfolio is. They are looking for people who don’t want to be pigeonholed, who want to show themselves as they truly are, and make a living doing what they truly love.
