The WBC visits the Consulate General of Mexico in Phoenix

In the build-up to the fight between David Benavidez vs. David Lemieux, Consul General of Mexico in Phoenix Jorge Mendoza Yescas, greeted the World Boxing Council. 

Those attending were Nancy Rodríguez and Sulem Urbina, a fighter originally from Hermosillo and a resident of Phoenix. José Benavidez Sr. also attended. He will be in the corner of David Benavidez in this important fight this weekend for the interim 168-pound belt.

 The team met with the public, offered a motivational talk and gave away some tickets for the fight of this Saturday, May 21.
