The Family of the World Boxing Council and its President Mauricio Sulaiman Saldivar, are deeply saddened by the death of legendary former Panamanian champion Eusebio Pedroza Silva.
The former champion known as “Alacran”, died, aged just sixty two, due to pancreatic cancer, for which he was being treated in the National Oncology Institute of Panama.
Pedroza, born on March 2, 1956, was a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame, concluding his boxing career with 42 victories, 26 knockouts, 6 defeats and one no contest.
The entire WBC joins with the family of Eusebio and his many friends in sympathy, during these sad moments. But we also laud a life of truly remarkable achievement.
Rest in peace Dear champion.
