The WBC mourns the death of Ramón Cairo

The World Boxing Council and its President Mauricio Sulaimán mourn the death of brilliant, perceptive and intuitive boxing photographer Ramón Cairo at the age of just 61.

Ramón, originally from Argentina, started photography as a hobby, but over the years he became an expert making himself known in his native country and in other parts of the world.
He has worked on important boxing sites such as Notifight, Ring Side Magazine, as well as various promoters and prominent sports media such as ESPN.

The WBC family mourns this irreparable loss and we send our condolences to the family and friends of Ramón Cairo.
