The WBC mourns  the death of Kobe Bryant

The World Boxing Council and its President  Mauricio Sulaiman, deeply lament the tragic death of Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna, along with friends and colleagues, with a final death toll of nine people.

One of the greatest basketball players of all time,  Kobe won five NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers becoming a sporting legend.

Kobe died Sunday at age 41 in a helicopter crash in California.

The entire WBC Family joins Kobe Bryant’s family, friends and millions of fans at this so terribly sad time.
