The WBC mourns the death of Aurora Benítez

The World Boxing Council mourns the passing of Aurora Benítez, mother of Mexican Olympic medalist Cristian Bejarano.

Bejarano, represented Mexico at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, where he won a bronze medal in boxing.
The entire family of the WBC and its President Mauricio Sulaimán Saldívar, send Cristian and his family, our deepest condolences, at this very sad time.
