The WBC mourns the death of Aaron Padilla

The World Boxing Council and its President Mauricio Sulaimán, express their deepest condolences following the irreparable loss of Mr. Aarón Padilla, who died yesterday as a victim of Covid-19.

Aaron  was a great player of the Mexican National Soccer Team, as well as a player of the Pumas and Atlante soccer teams, participated in the England 1966 and Mexico 70 World Cups.
Aaron Padilla was a close friend of Don José Sulaimán. We send his family, friends and leaders of the Mexican Soccer Federation, our heartfelt condolences.
