The WBC Lifts Suspension of Ryan Garcia 

The World Boxing Council announces that its Board of Governors has voted to lift the suspension imposed upon boxer Ryan Garcia.

The decision comes after a successful and properly documented process that has been thoroughly evaluated.

WBC President Mauricio Sulaimán shared the following statement regarding the resolution:
“The WBC Board of Governors has voted in favor of lifting the suspension on Ryan Garcia after his successful and documented process. The WBC has been very close to Ryan, his family, his management team, and promoter, and we are confident that he will start a new life inside and outside the ring. We welcome you with open arms and trust that you will be an ambassador for the new generation.”

The WBC reiterates its commitment to the well-being of all its athletes and looks forward to seeing Ryan Garcia resume his career with a renewed focus and success.
