The WBC Deeply Regrets the Passing of D. Warren Ashy

The World Boxing Council family and its President, Mauricio Sulaimán, deeply regret the passing of Mr. D. Warren Ashy, brother of our beloved Tommy Ashy.

Warren devoted his life to the people he loved—his family first and always—and to a calling that allowed him to serve others with compassion, integrity, and heart. For nearly five decades, he worked as a criminal defense attorney in Acadiana, earning the respect of colleagues, judges, and clients alike

A man who will be deeply missed and eternally appreciated, the WBC family joins the Ashy family during this very sad time. We ask God to give all his loved ones strength and peace.

May Mr. D. Warren Ashy rest in eternal peace.
