Radames and Marcos Hernández are two experienced trainers who, through dedication and hard work, have achieved notable triumphs in boxing.
Working along with the José Sulaimán Gymnasium of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa, both have honed, burnished and polished their knowledge and skills, guiding many young people to achieve their goals in boxing.
One of their greatest successes is the silver medal that their student Marco Verde, obtained during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The Hernández family has guided generations who have learned, assimilated and transformed their brilliant coaching into successful results in the amateur sector and later in the pro ranks, notably the double world champion Pedro Guevara.
In December 2014, Guevara won the World Boxing Council’s light flyweight title in Japan, taking one of the most memorable victories in professional boxing in Sinaloa, defeating then champion Akira Yaegashi by knockout.
The WBC especially congratulates the Hernández family and the José Sulaimán Gymnasium of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa, for the tremendous work they have done and achieved for years, inspiring young people to reach plus surpass their goals.
