The tale of Delfine against St Vil 

World Boxing Council lightweight champion Delfine Persoon, 33, of will defend her belt for the ninth time against tough 35-year-old Melissa St. Vil, on 9th  March in Kortrijk, Belgium.

Melissa is a former WBC silver champion. She has 11 victories, including one KO, and 3 losses. She was defeated by WBC super featherweight champion, Eva Wahlstrom last April 6th in Finland

Persoon, who has suffered only one loss in 43 fights and has 17 knockouts, comes from retaining her lightweight title, on December 8th, beating Kenyan Judy Waguthii by TKO in the tenth round.
