The importance of Box Med

At today’s Coffee Tuesday, the importance of Box Med was discussed.

Box Med is an app that allows boxers to record their weight, send medical exams, receive notifications, stay in touch with the WBC, and more. 

556 international boxers have registered, as well as 648 Mexican boxers. Boxers of the caliber of Saúl “Canelo” Alvarez, Oleksandr Usyk, and Jaime Munguia are registered. 

A video made with artificial intelligence was shown, in which WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman speaks in Japanese, inviting boxers to join Box Med. Versions in Russian, Italian, and other languages were also made so that it could reach the attention of the whole world. 

Super featherweight youth silver champion Gustavo Rivera was present at Martes de Café. During his participation, he invited boxers to join Box Med.
