The Boxing Showcase presents “La Silla Fight Night” 

Through its matchmaker, Christian Montes, the Texas promoter The Boxing Showcase presents the card that will take place this Saturday July 16th at the Showcenter Complex in Nuevo Leon

At the Showcenter facilities, José Miguel López endorsed its purpose of promoting boxing talent in Nuevo León by presenting young prospects from Monterrey, San Pedro Garza García, San Nicolás de los Garza, Guadalupe, Apodaca and General Escobedo.

He recalled that in 2019 the company organized an amateur tournament and that was when The Boxing Showcase discovered the talent that exists in Nuevo León, particularly in the suburban municipalities of the state capital.

“From there came Martín “Torbellino” Arreguín” (undefeated in three fights), who this Saturday will face José Vega del Ángel from Tamaulipas, at the start of The Big Belt Championship II tournament.

“We wanted to bring “La Silla Fight Night” so that everyone can see that there is a lot of talent in this place. Many times the big promoters do not support, but we bring a work plan from amateur and it is only to support it, go hand in hand with them to achieve the objectives,”

On another topic, he pointed out that “bringing quality events is how you can compete in a purely soccer arena, like Monterrey. “You will see on Saturday the infrastructure that we bring to put on a show worthy of a city like San Pedro.

“We want to leave a pleasant impression of all the cards that we set up in the United States. Bring them so that people get to know us. We know that it is a difficult task, because of the roots in soccer here, but we want people to get to know the young people through promotional videos. We know that it is a tool that can give us good results in the long run.”

The executive of the promoter thanked the President of the World Boxing Council, Mauricio Sulaimán, for the support he always gives them, and called on the first participants of this second edition of the Big Belt Championship to give their best effort with a view to conquering the precious belt that is delivered to the champions of the exclusive tournament for rookies.

In response to questions, the protagonists of the evening that will start at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday (the doors will open at 5:00 p.m.), Luis Gallegos, Luis González, Jahir Reyna, Aarón Yerena, Cristopher Briones and Martín Arreguín, expressed their pride at being part of “La Silla Fight Night.” The first show with valid fights for The Big Belt Championship tournament held in Mexico.
