Thailand’s Minister of Sports and Tourism, Khun Atthakorn Sirilatthayakorn, supports WBC Convention 2025

Today, a delegation from the WBC MuayThai and World Boxing Council, led by Royal Thai Army Major General Thanapol Bhakdibhumi, met with Thailand’s newly appointed Minister of Sports and Tourism, Khun Atthakorn Sirilatthayakorn, to discuss preparations for the upcoming WBC Global Convention, taking place from November 30 to December 5 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Bangkok.

The event will bring together the global boxing and MuayThai communities for a week-long celebration featuring meetings, workshops, fight nights, and special events, as the world of combat sports converges on Thailand’s vibrant capital.

This year’s convention will be historic, as for the first time, WBC Muaythai will join the annual event, holding its inaugural convention and creating a joint celebration that unites the worlds of boxing and Muay Thai.
