On October 13, at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, the vacant World Boxing Council flyweight title will be disputed between the former light flyweight champion, the Japanese Kenshiro Teraji and the Nicaraguan Cristofer Rosales.
Teraji (23-1, 14 KO) won his first world title with only 10 fights in his professional career, defeating the Mexican Ganigan Lopez. He made eight successful defenses before falling surprisingly to Masamichi Yabuki.
Undaunted, in the rematch he defeated Yabuki without problems, reconquering the world crown.
For his part, Rosales (37-6, 22 KO) is an experienced former world champion who comes to this fight after defeating Francisco Gomez Sanchez.
Both fighters were face to face at a press conference, where both assured that they are in excellent condition to get into the ring.
