Taylor and Sharipova weigh-in

Undisputed lightweight champion from Ireland Katie Taylor will defend her titles against Kazakh contender Firuza Sharipova Saturday night at the M & S Bank Arena in Liverpool, UK.

Katie Taylor (19-0, 6 KOs) comes to this fight after successfully defending her championships against American Jennifer Han, in September.

Sharipova (14-1, 8 KOs) has won super featherweight, lightweight and super lightweight titles since joining the professional ranks in May 2016, since her only loss, in her professional debut.

Sharipova is undefeated, in fourteen consecutive fights.
This Friday, both warriors passed the official weigh-in. Katie Taylor weighed 134.75 pounds, while Sharipova was 134.25 pounds.
