
During today’s Martes de Cafe, the WBC Day of the Dead Belt was officially unveiled — the winning design from the Talent Pitch Designers Flow, an international contest that brought together thousands of artists from around the world to create the very first Day of the Dead-themed belt for the World Boxing Council.
Francisco Salanueva was the winner of the Talent Pitch designers’ flow, standing out for his creativity, vision, and passion for Mexican art. His design for the WBC Día de Muertos commemorative belt captivated everyone with its elegance, symbolic depth, and heartfelt tribute to the traditions that inspire the World Boxing Council.
A true masterpiece that blends the spirit of boxing with the soul of Mexico.
The belt will be dedicated to two major fights:
WBC President Mauricio Sulaimán announced that once the belt’s production is complete, it will be officially presented to the public.
