The World Boxing Council and Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas put the icing on the cake, by celebrating the winner of Superbowl LIX, the Philadelphia Eagles, with a traditional and unforgettable party, where the WBC awarded two special belts to the winners.
The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on February 9, preventing the Chiefs from achieving a historic third consecutive championship.
This is the second event where the WBC joins the Wynn to give a special award to the Superbowl champions, which last year went to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Champions Stephen Fulton and Caleb Plant were in charge of giving the beautiful belts to the players of the champion team.
Stephen Fulton won the World Boxing Council featherweight title by defeating Brandon Figueroa by unanimous decision in February at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Fulton had already defeated Figueroa in November 2021, with the WBC super bantamweight title at stake, so he is now a double world champion and one of the best fighters in his division.
Caleb Plant, who has shown great qualities in the ring, has only two losses in his career against two of the best fighters of the moment: Canelo Álvarez and David Benavidez. In his most recent fight, he returned to the path of victory by defeating Trevor McCumby in the ninth round, once again aiming to conquer another world crown.
