Successful WBC seminar in Tijuana

The ring officers seminar held by the World Boxing Council in Tijuana, Baja California, led  by Dr. Lorenzo Soberanes, Mr. Juan Carlos Pelayo and Mr. José Cobian, was very successful.

There was a considerable, numerous and active participation of ring officials from all over the region.

During these seminars, various topics were reviewed with judges, referees and other officials from Mexicali, Ensenada, Rosarito and Tijuana, who participated actively.

Among some issues that were addressed were: The code of ethics for ring officers, basic functions of the judges, correct use of bandage on hands, referees´ obligations  and responsibilities, procedures to perform better, review of rounds and controversial scoring fights.
