Successful WBC Amateur event in Brazil

On November 7, a great Amateur Boxing event was held in Brazil, supported by the World Boxing Council, called “Knockout to Covid-19.”

It was at the Associação Ulysses Pereira, in Belém-Pará, Brazil, with the support of Mike Miranda Jr., representative of the WBC Amateur in Brazil, Geyza Cayny (President of the National Boxing Council of Brazil), all the team of the Pará Federation, making the event a total success.

All safety measures were taken in consideration to protect safety and health for COVID-19, of all those involved in the event.

The event consisted of 10 fights with boxers from different cities in Brazil, and both the fighters and their coaches received Official WBC Amateur medals plus diplomas,  in recognition of their participation.
