Subriel “Orgullo de Maternillo” Matías
Known for his aggressive style and relentless pressure, Matías owns a record of 23 wins, 22 of them by knockout, with only two defeats. After racking up 18 stoppage victories, the Puerto Rican earned his first world title opportunity, which he capitalized on to become super lightweight world champion.
Following one successful title defense, Matías lost that belt, but in July of last year he returned to the top by defeating then-champion Alberto Puello via majority decision, capturing the WBC super lightweight world title. This fight marks the first defense of his new reign.
Dalton “Thunder” Smith
From the early stages of his career, Dalton Smith made it crystal clear that his goal was to win WBC-sanctioned titles. In 2022, he knocked out Ray Moylette in the tenth round to claim the WBC International super lightweight title.
In March 2024, Smith took a major step forward by stopping José Zepeda, a victory that earned him the WBC Silver super lightweight title, which he successfully defended last year against Mathieu Germain. Now, Smith will challenge for a world title for the first time, arriving undefeated with a record of 18-0 and 13 knockouts.
