Stirring Sugar Bert Contest

The WBC and WBC Cares have participated in the SugarBert Amateur Tournament in Ontario, California.

The enthusiasm of the fighters and fans was electric, as the young athletes battled with all the determination and passion of the Pros.

Champions Louisa ‘Bang Bang’ Hawton, Crystal Morales and Top Ranks, Diego Pacheco attended and spoke to the youngsters prior to the fights. It’s always special when accomplished boxers like these take the time to share experiences and inspire the fighters.

“Tournaments like this inspire our youth to be a part of this great sport. The sportsmanship, respect and discipline they gain from it is a gift for life. It was enjoyable to see the excitement of the younger crew with their belts hung over their shoulders.”
