German boxer “Tiny” Tina Rupprecht has made history by becoming the first undisputed atomweight world champion, unifying the titles of the four major boxing organizations: WBC, WBA, IBF, and WBO.
This monumental achievement was accomplished on April 5, 2025, when Rupprecht defeated Japanese Sumire Yamanaka by majority decision at the MBS Arena in Potsdam, Germany, before a crowd of 2,500.
Known as “Tiny Tina” for her 5’1” height, Rupprecht demonstrated exceptional, fluid mobility and constant activity in the ring, factors that tipped the scales and the fates in her favor against Yamanaka, who arrived undefeated armed with a formidable reputation.

Born on August 23, 1992, in Augsburg, Germany, Rupprecht began her professional career in December 2013, winning her first fight by technical knockout in just 50 seconds. Since then, she has amassed a record of 15 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw, with 3 knockouts.
Her path to unification began in January 2024, when she defeated Czech Fabiana Bytyqi to win the WBC title. Later, in November of the same year, she defeated Japanese Eri Matsuda, adding the WBA and WBO belts to her collection.

In addition to her achievements in the ring, Rupprecht is also recognized for her work as a physical education teacher at a German high school. After her historic victory, she expressed her desire to continue competing and seek new challenges in professional boxing.
With this giant victory, Tiny Tina Rupprecht has not only reached the pinnacle of women’s boxing in her category, but has also left an indelible mark on German sports history, becoming the first boxer in the country to unify all four major world titles.
