
César Soriano received Latin belt WBC and his smile said it all.
The fighter from Mexico City, received the super lightweight Latin belt of the World Boxing Council, after his victory over Ismael Urieta on June 28.
Soriano, 22, is 15-2, 8 KOs, and after his last defeat in March last year, he has four consecutive wins.
“Let’s go for more, I’m glad to have this belt in my possession,” the new WBC Latino champion Declared.
He stressed his ambition is to continue climbing the division and train with greater determination in order to successfully defend the belt and then seek to find a world crown.
“We know that our career is taking shape, it will always be important to win titles. My dream is to become world champion, but we are going along step by step, with ever more determination.” He’s represented by promoter Ricardo Maldonado.
