Australian boxing phenomenon and current WBC Interim Super Bantamweight Champion, Skye Nicolson, is ready for a triumphant homecoming.
Following a string of dominant victories abroad, Nicolson (15-1, 3 KOs) will headline a potential card in Australia this coming April, marking the beginning of a new chapter under the Matchroom Boxing banner.
Since suffering the only defeat of her career in March 2025 against Tiara Brown, the Queensland southpaw has shown unbreakable resilience. Upon moving down in weight, Nicolson has secured three consecutive victories, including two knockouts in her last three appearances across England, Australia, and California.
Nicolson’s trajectory summit reached a new peak last December when she defeated the experienced Mexican Yuliahn “Cobrita” Luna to capture the WBC Interim World Super Bantamweight title. Frank Smith, CEO of Matchroom Boxing, confirmed that the promoter is ready to re-enter the Australian market with force for the card planned for April.
